No profanity, no sex, no violence! Only movies with messages promoting positive family values are selected for our members.

Filter One:
Family Values
Cinema

Family Values Cinema reviews and critiques the movies. We want films that are fun to watch for both parents and children. FVC's best family film prospects then get referred to the National Board of Mothers.

Filter Two:
National Board of Mothers

The National Board of Mothers critiques the movies according to each mother's personal opinion as well as the opinion of their children and other family members. When films are loved by both the parent(s) and the children, they receive a Double A Rating.

The National Board of Mothers is made up of a select group of concerned moms across the country that watch and grade each film before it is considered for inclusion in Family Values Cinema's library of outstanding family films.

The Parents Television Council is a national grassroots organization of over one million members working together to stem the flow of sex, violence, profanity and harmful messages targeted to children on television and in other media.
