What do DVD movie club gift recipients receive?
Recipients receive a SINGLE-FEATURE Mom-Selected, Mom-Approved movie on DVD every month to keep and collect. They will also receive a Family Discussion Guide for the film, an interactive family activity, a movie inspired recipe, and a beautiful DVD collector's case to store their movies and Discussion Guides.
Who chooses the films that are sent each month?
Family Values Cinema and the National Board of Mothers screen thousands of family films, and select only the best family movies with positive messages and good values for Family Values Cinema members. We look for movies that both entertain and inspire families.
How do I order a gift subscription?
The gift subscription order form must be completed. Family Values Cinema will mail the recipient a gift certificate with a special message from the gift giver. This gift certificate contains a REDEMPTION CODE that your recipient uses to start the subscription. The recipient enters their redemption code online, and address when redeeming the gift. Immediately after redemption the subscription will start and the first film(s) will be mailed.
When do I enter the address of the gift recipient?
Gift givers enter the address of the gift recipient during the order if they want the gift certificate to be mailed directly to the recipient. The recipient verifies their shipping address when they redeem the gift.
Do gift subscriptions start automatically?
No. The gift recipient must use the REDEMPTION CODE that appears on their gift certificate to start the subscription. The redemption process is initiated on the gift page of our website.
What if I want to delay my gift to coincide with a birthday or holiday?
You may choose to have the gift certificate sent to your home address instead of the recipient’s home address. By doing this you be able to present the gift certificate at a time that is convenient to your situation.
How do I redeem my gift?
The gift certificate that you received contains a redemption code. Visit the gift section of our website to complete the redemption process. If you are new to Family Values Cinema click the NEW USER button on the REDEEM page. You will be asked to setup your subscription by entering your shipping address, email address, and redemption code. If you have an existing account with Family Values Cinema please see the next question.
How do I redeem my gift if I am already a member of Family Values Cinema?
If you have an existing account with Family Values Cinema choose the REDEEM EXISTING MEMBERS button on the gift page of our website. You will need to log in using your current username and password to make sure that the redemption is processed to your current account. If you have a subscription that is currently active, the new gift subscription will be added to the end of that subscription. If you already have an account, but you do not have an active subscription the new subscription will begin immediately.
Can I buy a gift subscription for someone who is already a Family Values Cinema member?
Yes, simply go to our Gift Subscriptions page to purchase.
Do unredeemed gift subscriptions expire?
Yes. Gifts that are not redeemed within 1 year of the date of purchase become invalid.
Will gift subscriptions automatically be renewed?
No. Gift subscriptions are for fixed periods of time – either 3, 6, or 12 months. The recipient may renew the subscription at anytime before or after the subscription expires. Gift givers that want to renew a gift must simply purchase a new gift. When the recipient redeems the new gift as an existing subscriber, the new gift will automatically be added to the end of the previous gift.
Is it ever too late for holiday delivery?
No. Family Values Cinema can email a gift certificate to allow you to instantly notify your recipient, so orders can be placed at the very last minute.
